The first Startup Mentoring Corner will be held at Tribe Tampere, Pinninkatu 47, on December 3rd with none other than Chris Vargas, an angel investor who has pretty much done it all – several times. If your goal is international growth, you are hard-pressed to find anyone with more hands-on experience on the subject. Chris will be giving general funding advice talk to all registered visitors and 1-on-1 talks with four lucky startups. Besides that, there will be excellent opportunities for networking.

There will be more Startup Mentoring Corners coming up with heavyweight speakers to be announced later, so hop in now. If your aim is to grow, you can’t beat real-world experience and hands-on advice.

    What is 6Aika?

6Aika – Ecosystems of Growth: Enabling the Growth of Companies through Collaboration is the full name of a joint project by the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere, Vantaa, Turku and Oulu. The aim is to create opportunities for startups in a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional council. For the Tampere project, part of the funding comes from Tampere city region economic development company Tredea Oy (Business Tampere) and the city of Tampere.
