Brexit and its effects on international trade – A Royal visit to Tampere

The city of Tampere proudly welcomes the honorable guests from the British Royal family on Wednesday the 27th of September. His Royal Highness, Prince Michael of Kent and His delegation will join a lunch hosted by the City Council Chair Person Anna-Kaisa Ikonen in the Tampere City Hall. In addition to His Royal Highness the lunch will also be attended by the local business guests of the “Round Table” discussion event, which also takes place in the City Hall.
The kick-off for the talks at Round Table will be given by Anne-Marie Martin of COBCOE. Martin will be discussing the effects of Brexit on international trade. COBCOE stands for Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe, and it’s a non-profit organization with the purpose of advancing international trade and commerce.
The Round Table will be attended by local start-up companies, local businesses going global as well as key figures from larger businesses helping smaller companies go global. These include the representatives of Valmet Automation, Gofore, Optolevel, Forciot and Treon.
Round Table is organized by the City of Tampere in cooperation with Business Tampere, the British-Finnish Chamber of Commerce and the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland.
