KONE is looking for partners in the field of predictive maintenance – pitch your idea!

KONE and Business Tampere will arrange a Partner Pitching Day at KONE’s premises in Hyvinkää on February 14^th, 2019. This is a unique opportunity for companies operating in the Tampere region to pitch an idea and work with a global high-tech company which is an innovation leader in its industry field.

Every day, KONE plays a crucial role in people flow, helping to move a billion people each day. As a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, KONE is focused on helping its customers to improve their businesses with services and solutions that best enable, potentially thousands of individuals to move around quickly, efficiently and safely in their daily lives.

Now, KONE and Business Tampere are asking for companies operating in the Tampere region to pitch ideas or solutions in the field of predictive maintenance for mechanics. Specifically, to develop solutions to predict the lifetime and service need of elevator mechanical components.

The companies which take part in the pitching day will be selected based on their proposals. Furthermore, the chosen partner will have the chance to work with top talent from KONE while developing new solutions.

Business Tampere, the Tampere Region economic development agency, specializes in connecting companies, and helping them find business synergies and new business opportunities.

We have arranged similar events with several stakeholders, eg. with Sandvik, Rolls-Royce, Meyer Turku and FIMA (Forum for Intelligent Machines). KONE Pitching Day is a great continuum of this tradition. Without exception, the results of such events have been outstanding.
