Talent Pool reveals the available ICT skills to companies in need

Tampere Business Region Talent Pool reveals the available ICT skills in Tampere, Finland to companies in need. Talent pool is part of international Tampere4ICT campaign.
Around a 1000 ICT professionals were laid off from Microsoft and Nokia in Tampere, Finland, this summer. The City of Tampere, Tampere Region Economic Development Agency Tredea and Invest in Finland have gathered the information about the available skills to a Talent Pool. From the Talent Pool a company can see right away if the kind of skill they are looking for is available at the moment and how many professionals possessing that skill.
The Talent Pool was especially built to meet the needs of companies who are looking to open a new unit, for example, in research and development, or are thinking of relocating to the Tampere Region, and are willing to move fast. The available ICT talents have raised a lot of international interest and recruitments have already been made.
